Welcome to Port16 – and so it begins

I had the idea for this blog for a good long time ago, but it wasn’t until yesterday that I finally decided on a domain name. I also spent a fair amount of time researching hosting services.
Today, I just couldn’t stop thinking about doing this blog, so I finally caved in and bought it!
I’m new to WordPress, so it may take a little while until I get things all squared away, but I went ahead and changed some options, most notably the theme, just so I could get going.
There is some good stuff coming up, not to mention the launch of another site in the very near future. So keep reading, and Welcome to Port16.

Yes, the text wasn’t filled in by default. Askimet should be working too.
http://www.port16.com and port16.com go to the same place now, which is nice. I still have some stuff to work out though.

Well I’m glad you like it, I need to change it though. Its too bad your not geeky enough to do it, I sure could use your eye for color coordination and what looks good.
