4 Blogs That I Enjoy Reading
June 27, 2008
If I didn’t include you in this list, please don’t be upset. There are a few of you that I read all the time, and you know who you are, heck, you’re on the blogroll. I just thought I would mention some other blogs that I read as well. So, here goes. Sorry Kelly, I noticed that I hadn’t added yours to my blogroll yet, so I corrected that.
1. Sass and Veracity – Food Blog. Love food? Love cooking? If you answered yes, then you have to check out Sass and Veracity. Kellypea runs the blog, and she does an amazing job. I wish I hadn’t put it on the list first, because now that I’ve seen it, I’m hungry.
2. Simple Help – Great Tech help site. It’s interesting to read what tips Ross is spitting out today. Of course, I’ve got my own site that I guess is competing, but I’ll never be able to post the volume of content that Ross does. Great stuff!
3. Parent Hacks – Lots of ways to make neat stuff, save money, and just do the whole parenting thing better. Like how to make a Port-a-potty for camping, and what valuable lessons can be learned from a “toy jail”.
4. Getting Green – Or is it American Consumer News? Whichever it is, there’s lots of good financial advice. Savings, mortgage, shopping for produce, lot of stuff. I know I’m always looking to stretch the dollar a little more, are you?
What I’ve been trying to do is to theme these link posts, but to be honest, it’s getting harder and harder to find a theme in my bookmarks. I’m going to have to think of something for next week, after all, I don’t want it to be “6 sites I visited this week”.
Hope you all have a good weekend!

Mike, you are hilarious! And thanks very much for the mention. I appreciate it. That Disco’s steak recipe I got from you last year still gets lots of hits, and if I’m not mistaken, I have quite a bit of that habanero marinade in the freezer. I wonder if it’s still good? YUM!
As far as bookmarks go? Mine are all over the place! It would be funny to track exactly how many sites I visit in a week though. I’d know exactly how much time I wasn’t spending on things I should be doing! Happy weekend!

That steak was good, but then again, so were all of them
Like I said, it was really good on a chuck roast. I bet it’s still good.
I tend to visit too many sites related to work, and not many for pleasure.
Thanks for stopping by!

Yep, I do remember that you had quite a few from that great cookbook. The chuck sounds great — we’ve been doing a lot of roasts on the barbie…
And maybe that’s why I have a food blog. When I’m “working” I get to drool over everyone’s food shots!
