Unless of course, you’re one of the final five.
If you listen to the Two Guys Tech podcast, then you know that one of the only shows I watch is BattleStar Galactica. Of course, I was surprised to see that we can look forward to a fourth and final season next year.
Having BattleStar on the brain, I decided to go with a BattleStar Wallpaper for this Week’s installment of Wallpaper Tuesday.
Clicking on the image will bring open up the full sized image, but you can also find it on the Downloads Section at SciFi Channel’s BattleStar Page. (It’s on the bottom right).

I ended up taking last Thursday and Friday off to go camping and 4-wheeling, I should be posting about that pretty soon, but I realized yesterday that I missed my weekly link post.
Not having the routine made it easy to forget. Sorry about that.
This week, I’m getting spun up to step into my role of Tiger Cub Den Leader for my Son’s Cub Scout Pack, so time may be a little short this week.
I really enjoyed doing the "A Year Ago" post. It let me what I was doing back then, and it highlighted how different things are this year. Of course, I can’t believe that all of that stuff was a year ago, it seems like only months.
On the personal side of things, I was having some trouble with the brakes on my CJ-7, and learned a valuable lesson in the process.
I also found a website that let’s you know where you’re favorite sites are hosted, as well as one to let you know who else is hosted on your shared hosting server.
I was also getting ready to switch my blog from the port16.com root to port16.com/blog. Something I wish I had done in the first place, but I was glad that I ended up doing it pretty early on.
I hope everyone has had a good weekend, I know I did.

The video above is Apocalyptica performing the Metallica song "Fight Fire with Fire". You have to check it out, even if your not a Metallica fan, just to see the crazy Cello action.
Last night, I was lucky enough to catch Apocalyptica at "The Black Sheep" here in Colorado Springs. Although I used to listen to Apocalptica quite a bit, about 10 years ago, for some reason I haven’t listened to them in awhile.
Luckily, their last album has two songs which received some playtime on the radio, making them much more popular with the mainstream.
Although I don’t have that CD yet, I believe the two popular songs are the only two songs with vocals on the entire disc.
I haven’t seen Apocalyptica before, but what a terrific show! The amount of bass that they produce is mind boggling, and to be honest, there were parts of the show where I fully expected the cellos to burst into flame. The band loved the crowd, and it was obvious that they enjoy playing for us.
I love heavy music, but I think that even if you didn’t, you still have to appreciate their ability and talent.
Thanks Apocalyptica! I hope you find your way back to Colorado again.
You can find tour dates on their website. They have a few more stops in August before going back overseas, but they’ll be back in the US in September through October.

Taking a peek at my latest Wallpaper selections, I realized that I haven’t done any selections from games in awhile. So this weeks selection is a newly released wallpaper of Tristam.
You may remember Tristam as the poor village from Diablo which was besieged by the forces of evil. Tristam also made a brief appearance in Diablo 2, and I’m assuming we’re going to see it again in Diablo 3.
Of course, I can’t wait for the release of Diablo 3, so this wallpaper will have to do for now.
To get the image for yourself, go to the Diablo 3 Wallpapers page, and Tristam is on the bottom left.
Enjoy!

Just to take a little walk down memory lane. A Year Ago I had just registered the domain, and had to immediately go out of state on vacation. I did return on August 1st.
Darn it, I wish I could have gone on vacation this year too! Oh well. I do have a couple of days off coming at the end of this week, and then I’m turning next weekend into a 5 day weekend. I can’t wait.
Well, just getting back into the swing of things, I didn’t have too much going on. I showed you how to track a Mobile Phone’s location for free, and was shocked at what a One Legged Man was charged with doing (I think this may be one of Art’s favorite all time posts).
The last post that was noteworthy was about Bust a Name, a domain name generator that was pretty darn cool.
Now, I know that last week I didn’t post much of anything, except for my links and Wallpaper post. This week I hope to do a little better. Thanks for everyone who’ has stuck around and put up with me.
