Does my family know me or what? Looking at the picture now, I’m thinking I should have arranged these in this order:
Mummy3 - Zombie Survival Guide - Fallout 3
This way I would have a Movie about the Undead, then a book about a Undead Apocalypse, and finally a game about life after a Nuclear Apocalypse.
So far, I’m already spending way too much time playing Fallout 3, and The Mummy 3 wasn’t as good as the movies before it.
I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to a new year!

Taking a peek at my latest Wallpaper selections, I realized that I haven’t done any selections from games in awhile. So this weeks selection is a newly released wallpaper of Tristam.
You may remember Tristam as the poor village from Diablo which was besieged by the forces of evil. Tristam also made a brief appearance in Diablo 2, and I’m assuming we’re going to see it again in Diablo 3.
Of course, I can’t wait for the release of Diablo 3, so this wallpaper will have to do for now.
To get the image for yourself, go to the Diablo 3 Wallpapers page, and Tristam is on the bottom left.
Enjoy!

You know the game I’m really waiting on, but I still look forward to playing StarCraft 2 when it comes out. I was a huge fan of StarCraft, and I’m going to need something to tide me over until Diablo 3 is released, right?
This wallpaper has a group of Marines in the foreground, with a Nuclear warhead going off in the distance. Good stuff!
You can find it on the StarCraft 2 Wallpapers Page, it’s the second one down at the time this is being written.
Get Some!

Seems like this is another curve that I’m not quite hitting. According to a Post on Extreme Tech, Gamers are spending about $765 a year on games.
The survey was conducted by GameStrata, and polled gamers from ages 18 through 48.
I don’t know about you, but my yearly game spending is probably somewhere around $100, at most. I think the last game I bought was the Civ 4, and that was way back in January. Before that was the Orange Box, so it looks like I’m buying about 1 $40 game a year, but I’ll throw a couple of $20 PlayStation games in there too, just to round it out.
The kids have been hooked on Lego Indiana Jones, which is terrific because it gives me a quick and easy punishment when they misbehave. As a matter of fact, today ended a 3 day, parent induced boycott of the PlayStation.

I posted about it today over at Two Guys Tech, but starting Friday morning and running through this weekend, (6/20/2008 - 6/22/2008), you can play team fortress 2 for free!
You can even pre-load the game now, so that you don’t have to waste one precious moment of game time.
This is really a terrific first person shooter, it looks like a Pixar film, and emphasizes teamwork.
