The last couple of weeks I went with various video games for my wallpapers, so I wanted to do something different.

Today’s Wallpaper is “Dead Star Creates Celestial Havoc”, from the NASA Wallpapers directory at the Jet Propulsion Labs Web site. Your best bet to download it is to go to the NASA Wallpapers Directory page, and it is located on the top left.

If you click on the “More Info” link, you can get an explanation of what the image is, as well as how it was taken. There are lots of neat images here, available in various resolutions.

Besides images of things happening in the heavens, there are also images from mars, and earth. Well worth the visit.
